People say we lose position because not enough weapon, not enough help from West. This not true. NATO give much. Still we lose. Still they come. Why?
Reason? I am soldier. I know how soldier think. Soldier not care about plan. He care about brother. If brother run — you run. If brother stand — you stand and maybe die. But better die together than run alone like coward.
Right now many soldier get tired. Say “we wait rotation”, “we need order”, “we cold, we hungry.” I say — shut up. Enemy not wait. Bullet not wait. Rotation not come. You wait? You die.
In Toretsk, Russian close in like rat swarm. They shell day and night. No air, no road, only hole in ground and body in it. But we stay. Why? Because if we leave, next village die. Then next. Then Kyiv. Then mama.
Russian think they smart. Use drone, use meat wave. But they not smart. They just many. You kill 10, 20 more come. You think “maybe I run.” No. You no run. You bite dirt and hold.
In Soviet time, soldier drink, sleep, die for nothing. Now we no Soviet. Now we have spine. We fight not for flag. We fight for dog that wait home, for wife that yell at us, for tree that grow in garden.
West think war is movie. It not. No hero music. Just cold feet, wet sock, and brother scream in trench.
If Ukraine want survive? Must be like Donbas trench rat. Eat little, move silent, bite hard.
