>>510570307Not all seats are contested. In the Senate, terms are 6 years, so only about 1/3 will be potentially contested in the midterms. In the House, while terms are only 2 years, many districts aren't really contested due to being solidly one side or the other. The swing won't be big enough to lose districts that are heavily red. But for close districts, there the lose of Trump support over Epstein could cause a lot of formerly red voters to stay home, thus ceding the election to the blue team.
Ultimately it doesn't matter though. Red and blue work together behind the scenes. Politics is theater. Case in point, Biden/Kamala had all the evidence on Epstein and could have released it at any time, but never did.
