School lied to me. Apparently, there were slaves in the Union.
>Yes, there were slaves in some states that remained part of the Union during the Civil War, specifically in the border states of Maryland, Delaware, Kentucky, and Missouri. These states were not part of the Confederacy and did not secede, but they still had slavery until it was abolished by the 13th Amendment.

The lie is that they were employees.
They were indentured servants and farmworkers.
The reason some of them were put in chains are the same reasons many of them are in prison.
How many African women and children do you think the "slaves" were raping.
They should have never been brought to a civilized society.
