In Islam rapists get the rope (or the sword rather), but generally a victim is unfortunately seen as "tainted" and "damaged goods", plus families really care about their reputation. So that's probably why it's under reported.
Still, rape cases are rare here in general but when they do happen, like I said, the convict does go to prison. He doesn't get to just roam around freely.
And the victim doesn't get punished at all, common sense.

Muslims overwhelmingly do not support rape or blame victims of rape. You can't generalize based on the extremists, which unfortunately there are a lot of but still.
