Most people working for intelligence agencies are good people who are usually working for the greater good. We are living in globally connected world with countless different groups who have different ideologies, worldviews and interests, which sometimes pose a threat to our societies, such as terrorist extremists destabilizing the order and social fabric, that's why censorship sometimes is required to combat the negative effects of certain ideologies, because it is relatively cheap, easy and often the first step required to prevent the spread of such extremism. Additionally, intelligence officers as employees of governmental agencies and organizations have access to much more information than average people, including Top Secret and above, which allows them to see the situation from a different, big-picture point of view. That's why sometimes their actions might seem to some people as being unjustified, yet in reality are. I respect intelligence community and thank them for giving up their lives for the greater good, especially when they are sometimes required to make huge sacrifices, especially personal. They are the ones who are making the true difference in our world.
