The "evidence" so far is that some people flew on a plane. You insist on evidence to prove that those people did not partake in an alleged sex trafficking scheme. You want Trump to prove a negative, which is impossible. There's a reason why we have the assumption

People are not proven innocent. They are proven guilty. But in this case, for anyone who rode on the falsely named Lolita Express, the logic is reversed. They must be proven innocent.
In the UK they opened a number of inquiries into "historical abuse" cases, usually of an institutional nature. These tended to end in controversy as they attracted attention seekers, the mentally ill, and others whom enthusiastic prosecutors believed, but were often later proven liars. So even if we get another Church Committee, it's not clear that we'll ever know the truth beyond smearing a bunch of people who may or may not have done it. Irreparable damage has been done to public figures without any confidence that they were actually guilty of any crimes.
What is the value of such investigations?
In my view, a more Church Committee investigation is in order, into the intel agencies themselves. Epstein could be a part of that, with special focus on who he was working for, how he managed to operate on US soil for so long, having rubbed shoulders with prominent people for decades, while being known as intelligence.
But why would we trust anything that came out of that investigation, given how cooked the books must be by now, after 3 different Presidential terms. Anything the intel agencies haven't destroyed, anything the Biden administration hasn't destroyed, Trump has destroyed.
But somehow we're going to get the truth out of this. Not likely. Not ever.
And that, my friend, is what it means to live under a fake democracy under the rule of the intelligence agencies. Which is the real point of interest.
