But that just puts stablecoin issuers under the same existing regulations as regular banks, which would imply regular banks can also deny transactions because of vax mandates. That didn't happen even in peak 2020 clown world. It's certainly a concern though- once you've whitelisted some stablecoins for official elevation, it's a small step to blacklist the ones that aren't compliant. The missing half is the ability to assume that a new stablecoin MUST be one of these things. There's no reason to assume that isn't on its way, though I suspect the system will wait for after Trump to close that trap.
