Anyway, this whole discussion about Aryans is based on the Nords (from whom the Germanics descend since Jastorf came from the Nordic Bronze Age) being the most similar to the Yamnaya because they supposedly have more of their DNA, which is bullshit, most of the Nords' Steppe are EHG (pre-Yamnaya), the reason their main haplogroup is I1/N1 instead of R1b and some of them look like Chinks since EHG comes from ANE, which is the same ancestor as the Amerindians. The people with more R1b/Steppe are unironically the Britbongs.

Evolving in a climate which harsh winters is a prerequisite for intelligence, but intelligence in and of itself doesn't immediately result in an advanced civilization. For most of their history, Northern Europeans were struggling to survive in their harsh climate. Southern Europeans, in contrast, were playing on Easy Mode in a Mediterranean climate with mild winters and food like wind and olives in abundance. They didn't have to struggle, and as a result they had a lot of surplus time at their disposal. That's how they were able to form civilization before the Northern Europeans could. After certain technological advances occurred the Northern Europeans were able to overcome their harsh environment and also have that surplus time to develop civilization, this couples with their superior intelligence acquired from struggling to survive in a harsh land for many thousands of years propelled them to become the masters of the world.
