Because the Western Left has gone full Comintern from '68 onwards and progressively turfed Jews out of their political tent in favor of Muslims, so they are naturally going into the other one to represent their interests.

It helps that demographically, Israelis are becoming increasingly right-wing and reactionary aside from loving their bennies. So it makes right-wing and reactionary politicians with shared enemies attractive potential allies.

No comment as to whether or not said alliances are fair or equal, but it at least explains the underlying dynamic and the increasing rightward political drift of Jews in Western countries.
