Celebrities spout their bullshit all day every day on social media, there's no need to watch a show like this to get their take.
A show has ton of overhead. You've got writers, the camera crew, the band for some reason, more people beyond that, and you have a venue large enough for all those people plus the audience watching.
The interviews are incredibly short and are completely scripted, it's fake and ungenuine.
You can watch a podcast whenever you like, you dont have to wait for that late night timeslot.
For any current events, everybody's already heard about it way before late night show can get to it.
