One thing I noticed about zoomers is that they don’t engage with campus life at all. When I was a student there were three types of house party scenes: 1) Greek life 2) Athletics 3) Student orgs. Besides the fact that it was terribly written and formatted, he only had his degree and shitty pre-college work experience on there. I asked him what he had done since he got to college other than go to class. The answer was basically nothing. He didn’t work, had no internships, didn’t participate in any research projects, hadn’t played a sport, wasn’t an artist, didn’t join any student orgs, nothing. He said this was normal among his peers. I said “ok so you’re a homebody that’s ok, have you read any books or developed any passions or hobbies”. No, he hadn’t. These kids aren’t doing anything but scrolling social media bro. It’s like heroin for them. These kids are in their 20s having no skills, no experiences, no education, and no interests because they’ve spent their entire lives on their phones and on Steam.

For example, we dont have those big fraternity/sorority houses at all but just regular student housing in apartments, so in university the parties would usually be held at some large rented venues with all sorts of activities, not necessarily a house but like some rentable holiday spa / sauna complex situation thing. Although couple of times I did see an entire student housing block like a 10 story apartment building turn into a massive party as in they cleared out apartments and put the stuff to storage to make dancefloors and DJ sets and such in them, it was quite unique

I've been to countless parties, and none of them were like what was shown in any hollywood movie or TV series.

The average high schooler doesn't live in a 4 floor 8 bedroom 3 bathroom giant mansion that's big enough to accomodate all the necessary camera shots and with enough rooms to facilitate the events of the scenario.

Nerds, jocks, and stoners all fraternizing over drinks, dancing, revelry, and long conversations into the wee hours of the morning. School buses were chartered, parents and teachers chaperoned. Sure there were a few pockets of ugliness throughout the night and a little bit of fighting or raping, a rumor or two about a teacher getting with a student, but hey... that's just another form of social education in the form of reality! The schools these days make it impossible. Frats are on such high standards from bad media and false accusations. They have to be on their best behavior or get shit down. Also campus housing is trash in most places. Either live in tiny expensive dorms or tiny shitty slightly less expensive apartments stacked on top of each other.
