Pagan traditions are nonsense. The European pagan religions were just as insane and brutal as the Aztecs and Mayans. They encouraged human trafficking, kidnapping, denial of human rights, human sacrifice, temple prostitution, child sacrifice and pillaging of their weaker neighbors.

Very Based. The people that were sacrificed were criminals & POWs. Child Sacrifice had to do with the high childhood mortality rate, 25-50% of all children died before modern medicine, so sick children that looked like they were about to die anyway just had the plug pulled on them.
