Finland speakers - a troublesome find
Newly found statistics show how the language speakers in Finland was like,by end of 2024
5.5 million people and 290 000 speak Swedish which is not counted as foreign language.
But the rest 5.2 million doesnt all speak Finnish.
Here's what we found out:
-100 000 Russian speakers (some of them ethnic Finns or at least unrecognizable as Russian until they speak)
-50 000 Estonian speakers
-43 000 Arabic out of which almost 0 are Arabian people (Iraqi people arent arabs, Arabs are North African ethnic group)
-38 000 Ukrainian (they have came since 2022)
-36 000 English (many are very dark skinned)
-26 000 Somali
-22 000 Persian (they are ethnically either Iranian or Afgani)
-19 000 Chinese
-19 000 Albanian
-18 000 Kurdish (they are ethnically Iraqi)
-16 000 Vietnamese (most came in 1970s and then their kids continued of tradition of speaking Vietnamese)
-13 000 Turkish (none were refugees, they came as economic migrants looking for work)
-almost 12 000 Spanish, out of which half are South Americans like Venezuela, so called Spics in American language, rest are European Castillione ethnicity
-almost 12 000 Bengali speakers, ethnically these are Indians
-about 8000 Urdu speakers, they are ethnic Indians
-7300 Romanian speakers, very few are Gypsy and they came for work
