If you don’t have friends or family, go join a church. The people in the church believe that IT’S THEIR JOB AS CHRISTIANS TO MAKE YOU PART OF THE COMMUNITY. They will go out of their way to fit you in. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have strong social skills. Just be honest and they WILL take you in and teach you. At least a good church will, so if you don’t find it at one, then keep trying until you find a good one. It’s God’s plan that you have a good mate and family and be supported by a strong community.

You can go sit in any church in the world on Sunday morning and be surrounded by people who want you to be there. Every church in the world wants new people to join. Go try out a few and see how they feel. It’s easy.

I found a good church and it unironically changed my life. I started going regularly, then did some volunteering. Got invited to things.

Met a nice girl. Been dating for a year now. I think she wants to get married. Not sure if I'm ready for that, but I like her and I really like her family. I wish my dad had been like her dad.
