Epstein is connected to Israel, this is why Trump is covering it up. He doesn't want to risk the political fallout for Israel when people realize all of Epstein's clients were blackmailed and used as Israeli assets (including Trump himself).

the WSJ understands libel laws, and truth is an absolute defense to libel in US law. Describing the letter with this much specificity means it exists and they can show a years-long chain of custody for it. Every document/piece of evidence in a legal case has a number assigned to it (known as a Bates number) and is carefully catalogued, this goes double in federal cases. Every party to the case (which involve multiple attorneys and often outside counsel) has copies of the evidence, and even stuff that is sealed off from members of the public is still catalogued and described in general terms.
I do not see any way the WSJ editors would have published this without being able to pull out a copy of the documents mentioned therein, given the known legal risks. It doesn't matter how much he's suing them for or what he demands in discovery, If the WSJ can submit evidence of the letter's actual existence - eg high quality photographs and a Bates number allowing the original to be located - they're untouchable. 'Absolute defense' means a flawless victory in legal terms, there are no side arguments like 'it was irresponsible to publish it' or 'you infringed on my privacy' or 'you shouldn't have been allowed to see it in the first place'.

Trump ran on "I'll release the Epstein files, all of em!" to loud boisterous cheering during his rallies. This and kicking illegal aliens out of the country are what won him the election. So why doesn't he release them? The Epstein case happened while he was president. He had to have known something about the case then. They were at the very least acquaintances. Why would he run on something like this only to rug pull once he was in the White House and run the risk of destroying a potentially great legacy? Also, they tried to kill the man 3 times. Why did they want him dead so badly? He's 79 years old and really has nothing to lose at this point. He just needs to release this shit and let the cards fall where they may.

Who put a green light on this story? Who in their right mind would put their entire company at risk if they got this wrong? Trump just filed a 10 BILLION dollar lawsuit against the WSJ.
