Sure. Porn is the low tier of the movie business, which historically was run by Jewish folks. So failed directors, failed actors, failed actresses, all in the same spot (Hollywood) provided a lot of talent for cheap, and likewise there are plenty of camera people, rental gear etc. available.
So it's perfect opportunity to make at least a little money, and there were enough people willing to do it. It's not that porn is Jewish, it's that entertainment was.
