FULL RETARD MODE

Reminder, if you're suing for defamation the burden of proof is on the plaintiff (Trump).

So either the letter doesn’t exist and he’ll humiliate himself by losing in court because he has no evidence, or it does exist and he’s about to prove it’s real when forensics confirm its his drawing/signature.

Doesn't matter, Murdoch will likely settle this case and give Trump tens of millions just to avoid going to discovery. Trump already got $30 million from ABC and 60 Minutes using the same tactic.

You are a moron, if the letter doesn't exist (as in WSJ can't provide it during discovery) the entire basis for the WSJ article was built on a willful lie and thus Trump wins.

Wrong. Trump has to prove WSJ knew it was false, not just that they were wrong. But WSJ says they saw the letter in Epstein’s album, with other witnesses. If that holds up, their testimony alone could sink him.

And lets be real, we all know it exists and he's on the list.

If the letter can't be produced during discovery, that means the WSJ lied about having it, and its impossible to construct and argument based around the fact they didn't know because the article directly said they have the letter.

No, they claim they saw it, that's a big difference.

no it's not.
If a neighbor said i was on 4chan on july 18th, he isn't also allowed to go through my computer to prove it. he would have to subpoena 4chan first. he would also have to prove he found out before his claim.

True, but you would have to prove he is willfully lying.

They have to prove they saw it you retard. If they can't prove the letter is even real, then Trump wins.

If they can prove it's real, but they can't prove Trump wrote it, Trump wins again.

If the letter doesn't exist then he wins. Because the publication was slander.

wsj can't use the "we read it, trust us." defense. They need to bring it, or pay up.

He just used money to activate his trap card and waste everyone's time and make them talk about things while he goes and does other things.
You guys don't remember the fucking joke that the Brett Kavanagh trial and accusations were?
All court is is boomer shouting matches judged by a fellow boomer who's always going to side with the old folks and teach a lesson over actually dispensing justice.

problem is: there's a very good chance that the trump admin will, or have already, get someone from the FBI or DOJ or whoever can get access to epstein's scrapbook to remove the letter and burn it to ash.
