when win11 was released in december 2021 people didnt immediately rush into using it but liked windows 10 more

eventhough win11 was only 30% of windowses in 2024, it has now went past windows 10

windows 11 is in 52% of computers which mean it is more than half of 100% which means no other system can go above it

during 2025 it has also risen as most popular Steam OS, the OS you use when you use STEAM to play games

There is no "official" internet browser for Windows 7. But you can use:
-supermium (variant of chromium)
-thorium (variant of chromium)
-palemoon forks (a fork of a firefox fork)
-r3dfox (firefox fork)

Firefox wont work you would hae to use old 115 version and it doesnt quite cut it today.

Windows 10 supports more common browsers than windows 7. Windows 11 supports all browsers and their current versions.

Its a shame that everyone recommending Linux during the past couple years has recommended garbage like Mint which is objectively inferior to Windows 11 when it comes to what the average user cares about. If all the people recommending Linux has recommended something like KDE we'd be in a much better spot, and if the developers stopped adding obscure behind the scenes shit no one except programmer virgins cares about, and instead took 5 minutes out of their day to add simple things like a driver manager to distros other than Mint.

I use brave and firefox on win 7.
They both still work just fine

If you are using AMD graphics, do the switch. Im using Naboro OS which is a fedora distro, and its so fucking good for gaming, and for other windows things I just use wrapper programs like "bottles".

I dont regret switching to linux for a moment. Fuck microshit and the spy software in all of that junk
