Obviously nothing in modern Judaism is based on Torah. Neither on Nevi'im, nor Ketuvim. Do they take their instruction from Midrash? Or is it all Talmud? There's so much jewish blather in writing over the centuries, it's hard to pin down what their main sources of instruction are. Do they just randomly choose a text from the many tens of thousands of pages they seem to have? It all seems so incoherent.
