Colbert lost his show because he was unfunny and nobody watched him. Trying to imagine it's because he made fun of Trump is cunt-tier. His show revolved around Trump since he first aired in 2015. His entire shtick is standing on stage and talking about how much he hates Trump and Maga, for 10 years straight. Realistically, the fact that he held a late night television show for 10 years while simultaneously getting no viewership from the prime demographic of late night television is insane. I suppose they were tired of spending top dollar to animate and create low quality musical scenes of dancing needles telling people to get covid shots which ultimately get featured on YouTube and panned as a whole new era of cringe.
