Shit people claim drugs made them do x,y,z but actually they were pieces of shit before drugs ever entered their life. Most le evil drugs aren't that addictive. Opioid euphoria and withdrawal are not sufficient positive and negative motivators to justify this behavior (even if they did, it still makes zero sense as reason is retained so goes to show how your horrible person brain thinks).
