The problem with many trannies is that it’s pretty much a full time thing that’s also very expensive to go all the way with, so many just end up expecting cross dressing and a mere few months of hrt to be enough.
It’s not; hrt takes upwards of 5 years to fully feminize your proportions and internal behavior, and electrolysis is the only way to permanently remove facial hair. Even if not, you’ll need a daily concealer and tone corrector to hide a shadow if you have dark hair.
Then there’s the matter of voice training, which can be really difficult unless you go the surgical route but risk losing your ability to sing. There’s also the aforementioned facial surgeries and, finally, bottom surgery which only a small handful of surgeons are capable of producing competent results with(there’s only like 5 in the US)
The laughing stocks you often see are the inbetweens who are still early in the process, or the total losers who don’t even try and just do it as a cross dressing kink.
