>>510860723Don't worry too much, 9070XT is fantastic card. It got a huge uplift from recent driver updates and now benchmarks pretty much equally with the 5070 Ti. The only reason to pick one over the other is price, or if you really need some vendor-specific feature (e.g. better support for AI shit on Windows, or NVENC, or whatever). I was looking for either an MSRP 5070 Ti, 5080 FE, or MSRP 9070 XT, and the one I got was just the first thing I caught in stock. Seems that Nvidia cards come with a huge markup in Europe for no real reason except that Nvidia doesn't give a shit about the gamer market anymore. At this point I'm convinced they only sell gaming-focused parts to get rid of partially dysfunctional or poorly-binned chips that aren't suitable for $10,000+ professional cards or "AI accelerators".
Sounds like a nice rig, should perform the same as my friend's unless you really need the extra RAM/SSD space (which my friend really didn't, I just managed to squeeze it in the budget for fun, and he's probably gonna use this rig for 5-7 years, so I might as well try to future-proof it a little). Most of the parts I picked up were heavily discounted Amazon open-box with like an additional -20% or -30% for Prime Day. If I had to source all the same parts right now, it could easily end up like $400-500 higher.
