War has changed a lot depending on the timescale, hand to hand, to weapons that are sharp, to projectiles onto explosives, and now remotely operated.
Yet some things remain the same. The struggle for control or the illusion of control on a small time on this spinning rock pretending we have some privileged position over other ephemeral beings who also inhabit it. So yeah War never changes. But it gets better once you accept you're just a cog in a bigger piece, and rest easily knowing humility is not reserved for just the weak
