Clack fans are hand-held fans made popular within the Black community by “Boots on the Ground: Where Them Fans At?” line dance by 803Fresh, which incorporates a fan.
According to the guidelines, clack fans are banned in the night clubs. However, they are permitted on the Lido deck, where line dances now take place, per a Carnival spokesperson.
Is rap and hip hop banned?
Some passengers say they have noticed less rap and hip-hop music played on board Carnival cruises, leading to rumors.
“Just got off the carnival paradise(tampa fl) yesterday and they played zero rap/ hip hop songs. They literally played 'party in the USA' inside the night club. It was barely anyone inside the night club because the music selection was so horrible,” one passenger posted on Reddit.
Carnival has not issued any formal language around whether there is less rap or hip-hop music played on board. However, there are now “expanded” themed music nights at the nightclub, a Carnival spokesperson confirms.
>In a thread on a Carnival Cruise-centric Facebook page, passengers confirmed hip-hop was played on board their cruises. A video shared by a Carnival DJ shows passengers dancing to “Boots on the Ground."JUST FUCKING SAY NO NIGGERS!!!!
