I rarely use oils unless I have something on/in such high heat (like 500F+) that I need avocado oil or something for, and I've never even been slightly fat in my 35 years. I run and exercise but only like 3-4 times a week at best. Doing filets tonight, heavily basted with butter, roasted heirloom carrots with browned sage butter, robuchon taters, which are literally 50% butter by weight, and a beat puree that doesn't actually contain butter but a healthy pour of heavy cream. 6 foot around 170 pounds turning 36 in a couple months. I eat like this all the time.
