Jesus in Matthew 19:12 praises “eunuchs for the kingdom” who voluntarily abstain.
Matthew 5:28–30: even lustful thoughts are adultery in the heart; better to pluck out an eye than sin.
Paul’s rule in 1 Corinthians 7:1–2, 8–9 is airtight: “It is good for a man not to touch a woman… but if they cannot control themselves, let them marry; it is better to marry than to burn.”
Same chapter, verses 25–35: the unmarried stay single and celibate; the married abstain only by mutual consent for prayer, then come back together.
