Even if you are desperate for an internship you are better off perhaps moving to another country where your line of work is in higher demand or something than working in one of these companies. You want to work with sort of high IQ east asian and white men and high IQ older white women who are just a bunch of nerds like you who make some sort of real economic contribution like researching different strains of rice or alloys or whatever, and no red flags you often see with scam artists.
