Allowing the trams to be stuck in traffic, not giving trams absolute priority on intersections with almost always green light, no true level-boarding platforms and bad routes. The reason is if they do that, it could hamper the flow of car-traffic.

Electric bus just makes the most sense. Can change up the routes easily for different times of day or days of the week, no added infrastructure needed just some paint to mark bus lanes. They need to eliminate half the stops though. People can walk more than 1.5 blocks they shouldn’t be stopping every 200 yards like they usually do. Makes the commute take twice as long as it should.
