Why are themes about โ€˜evil colonist white peopleโ€™ making a comeback in the media? Arenโ€™t they tired of it?

>In 1857, the British East India Company wields more power than any nation on Earth, thanks to its private armies and navy, while stealing the riches of the nations they've subdued. In Kalpani, India, a massive submersible ship, the Nautilus, is being secretly built by the Company using slave labor from the colonial prison. Although originally designed as a vessel of undersea exploration, the Company intends to arm the Nautilus and use it as a new type of warship. One of the prisoners forced to build the Nautilus is Nemo (Shazad Latif), who designed the Nautilus 's engines and has also been planning a prisoner uprising in order to seize the Nautilus and use it to escape. Nemo and his followers manage to successfully take over the Nautilus and escape out to sea. Now hunted by the East India Company, who wants the Nautilus back and Nemo dead, Nemo and his motley crew sail beneath the seas on a mission of retribution and vengeance to utterly destroy the power of the Company and the Company itself.

Because it's the white working class who are responsible and should be punished, not the ((wealthy)) who own the trading companies, film studios, and politicians.

There is no Mossad sponsored blackmail ring, Epstein killed himself because he was a little sad and Maxwell is in jail because she didn't do anything wrong she just likes the company. Trump isn't compromised, the United States president is an elected representative of the American people he does not work for any other nation.

The world is on fire because that's how it's supposed to be. None of the leaders and wealthy influential businesses had anything to do with everything going to shit. They tried very hard to give money to the poor, you should thank Bezos and Gates for the hard work they've personally done building and running all those amazon warehouses and data centers all by themselves.

>Umm, I don't think anyone 'needs' a semi auto for anything.
>Yea so what? Sure I just became a dad. And if someone breaks in to my house, I guess it's just my time.
>Uhh, I'm pretty sure the science is settled on that one.
>Ha, isn't that transphobic?
>No. I don't like beer. I like these vodka coolers though.
>Yea, the wife's out for ladies night with her girlfriends. They do it all the time. She always forgets her phone tho ha ha.
>Everyone up to date with their covid boosters? If not I'll drive and we can get some ice-cream after.
>Yea. We all live on stolen land. We should just give it all back to the natives.
>I hate white people.

Aside from the "wy pipo bad" and feminist island, it was actually ok. It was like a cheap fanfic of Farscape, where they changed everything to 1800's at sea to avoid lawsuits.

tbf Captain Nemo was an anti-white arab terrorist, so at least they're not race-swapping this time. it's true to the source material. Jules Verne was a fag.

Sounds promising.

Come think of it, it's surprising it has taken so long for the suits to dig up Nemo considering he's at least part jeet and therefore doesn't even have to be race swapped.

SG crew got Ben&Claudia for the last couple of seasons and had an anniversary episode coming up so they got to mess around. Funniest part is in Claudia's vision Ben/Crichton is replaced by Shanks/Daniel, being her main interest in SG-1, while Ben himself is shifted to the role of Stark.

I liked SGU a lot when it came out. I even borrowed it from the public library and burned it all on to one of my old hard drives back in the day. Sucks it never came back for a season 3 (for what ever reason I've since forgot) while season 2 ended on a promise of more to come. It's felt and still feels like some video game company rug pulling the servers on your favorite game to play online. Every time I watch it again I'm struck with melancholy, but it's just so good.
