People probably shouldn't go to jail for getting unsolicited nudes from a minor, or something that they found or downloaded by accident. One time I had a dream of a 1980's Japanese woman and ended up looking for vintage Japanese porn. The magazines I found scans of included pictures of underage girls, which was legal in Japan at the time. I deleted the files and it would be wrong to treat me the same as a guy with a terabyte of kids getting raped and who paid people in the third world to create many of the videos.

The reason AI CP is illegal is because it trains off of REAL images, and it's especially bad if you base the image off a real person.

This is not an endorsement to engage with any of these, but as long as it's clearly a cartoon, it's generally legal under the first amendment. Yes, there are obscenity laws, but they're rarely enforced and aren't as serious.

The concept of an illegal sharing of data is already ridiculous. That simple consumption of data (such as what is mentioned in the OP pic) is illegal is comically absurd. Not to mention nearly all of "CP" is actually just young camwhores, no one is being "raped". Although even if people *were* being raped it still doesn't make sense for the data to be illegal when videos of brutal murder and torture are perfectly legal (as they should be).

And please do explain how someone simply consuming (see OP pic) is deserving of harsh punishment. The person who took the picture is most likely different from the person who posted it (and probably doesn't even know about this specific post) and the person who posted it has no idea that someone saved it. It's irrelevant what "logical argument" you think you're making for legalizing CP, libertranny. I won't necessarily argue it should be legal, because I myself am unconvinced either way yet. Either way has very, very bad implications, either for freedom or for the moral fabric. But don't pollute the debate with gibberish when you clearly don't know what the fuck you are talking about.
