It's very simple. If there was something that could be gained from releasing it, it would be released.

But instead it would compromise the blackmail network setup that both Israel and in the United States benefit from, which has cost hundreds of millions of dollars and probably dozens of assets' lives. All Trump has to do is make sure it never sees the light of day and that practice of ruling the world through these threats can continue.
