the site, like the internet itself, is dominated by sociopaths/psychopaths. its an environment that breeds conflict, negativity and fruitless bullshit. it doesnt matter if they are hired shills or acting alone, the users are typically just playing some pointless game. and its dominated by shit heads. they get the most engagement, their content is forced onto more feeds, meanwhile real people with something potentially worthwhile to offer go completely off the radar.

Twitter was always overrated. it didnt deserve to get as popular as it did. and social media itself is a product of intelligence agencies. its an externalization of the databases they had been building for decades prior. and yes they developed AI in order to manage those databases that were profiling EVERYONE. so the idea became to get people actively involved in their own survelliance. to report on themselves by joining in on the popularity contest. share EVERYTHING. every thought, everything you do, everywhere you go, all that data organized by AI... and the intel agencies use the voting system in social media to reinforce the sorts of opinions they want the public to adopt. because people are social creatures. so if they see a lot of other people SEEM to agree or like something, they are more likely to like and agree too.

and i think it just brings out some of the worst qualities in people. vanity, greed.. it often leads to conflict and drama. people end up just resenting each other more than before and nothing good comes from it. the site is a total waste of time, and thats coming from someone who loves hanging out here... Twitter is difficult to use for prolonged periods of time... Reddit is basically impossible for me, the users are insufferable. beyond cringe. the bullshit is intolerable and trying to confront the bullshitters is entirely futile because of the manipulation of the voting system.
