Every major city in Ohio is a liberal shithole filled with thug niggers, white-trash and crime. You also get some illegal spics in the burbs around the bigger cities and the Asians fill the colleges.

The saving grace is the boring rural areas in-between the cities that are cheap and low on crime because 50% of the rural Whites have guns and will absolutely blow anybody away if they try mugging them.

Ohio has 88 counties. Only 6 - 8 are Democrat, the other 80 - 82 are Republican.

Honestly, traveling anywhere in the rural areas in Ohio is pretty safe. Just don't go entering some off-road swamp trailer parks in the woods, or into ghetto section-8 areas of major cities.

Ohio is Constitutional carry, so any citizen 21+ can conceal carry a handgun without a permit.

Out of curiosity, why are you interested in Ohio? We always get Japanese tourists out here and u don't know how they even discover this place.

I don't think you even have to be a citizen. I hope to get my 38 snubby as a refugee. I lived near Akron in the 90s for seven years. I have seen a fair bit of the rest of Ohio. I also spent a year driving around America living in my truck, mostly out west. It is Ohio that I feel drawn to now, like going home. It is real America. (but I know a lot changes in 20 years; and that's why I ask for current Intel in oh threads.

I like rural Ohio and never plan on leaving. I like the "boring" lifestyle. I go fishing a lot, hiking, used to hunt. If I want to "party" or see a play I can just take an Uber to Cleveland, which is like a once every 3 years thing.
I also feel very safe and don't have to constantly be on-guard. When I was in Cleveland I could never relax, it's 24/7 on-alert mode.

I used to drive to the west side market every two weeks. It was hard to buy good food in rural Ohio. I think those that cared grew their own or had contacts. I ain't got my snubby yet.
