When did the term of inflation became some kind of law of nature like entropy or something?
It is literally not that. Gold standard had nearly no inflation. It is a process of money losing value, we know that, but there are a lot of ways of printing money without devaluing the total amount, it is totally intentional and maually operated, money can't just lose value by itself, somebody has to hoard money and somebody has to print money without asking the first guy to put his money into economy
