There is nothing inherently interesting, exotic, or secretive about orgies or swinger's parties. They happen all the time, all over the country. In fact, the people who organize them take out ads in local independent newspapers to promote them. In New York City, a little rag called The Village Voice had ads for all kinds of unusual happenings in and around NYC including orgies and swinger's parties.

Those gatherings are like nude beaches -- You expect to see lots of hot babes but in reality you see just a small turnout of unattractive old people. Kubrick's movie is a tacit admission that he attended such orgies. Kubrick took that experience and embellished it, made it dramatic, and created a screenplay from it.

Kubrick was a jew. A pervert jew in an industry that is majority pervert jew. He succeeded in getting people to invest money in the project with the promise that they would see a nice return on their investment.
