The traditional concept of the King having his men slaughtering peasants for hunting on his land has historically been used as a way to bash the "Elite" for letting the poor starve.

What people fail to realize is once you have a demographic to constitute a kingdom the land can no longer provide for the people inhabiting it without agriculture.

It may seem weird, you may think "I can just go outside and eat what I find" but in reality most places that had civilization quickly exhausted their natural food supplied.

We depend on agriculture out of necessity, not because it's easy.

The Kings had land, guarded to prevent poaching, so that the lands wouldn't be raped by the commoner. Sure it was for his own entertainment but it ultimately reflected a much needed restraint.

That is why national parks exist, that is why even in third world shitholes like brazil there is major pushback against endless hordes of retarded demanding more farmland.
