Yeah even before immigrants you were vastly more likely to get mugged in Europe than America. America has violent crime because we are emotional people, and 95% of that is directed at friends/family/roadrage or bar arguments. Being mugged as a regular thing is unheard of, but in Europe it is normal. I can't imagine how bad it is nowadays, I fucking hated Europe even before the brown people. I've slapped/shoved multiple people in various Euro countries.
The thing is that Americans aren't genuinely poor, even the low class. They still live in luxury relative to the rest of humanity. But Europeans are indeed poor, so they resort to actual robbery on a regular basis just to make a living.
