There needs to be a way to destroy this company, are there any ongoing class action lawsuits? They are criminally ripping off their customers and their 'independent contractor' employees.

I think it's a retarded business model and it's completely unsustainable to pay fees out the ass every time you want to eat something. Why would you want some random person delivering your food?

Delete all the apps off your phone. This will eliminate the urge to order from them. If you’re craving food get up off your lazy ass and drive to pick it up. I used to order way too much DoorDash and after so many times of being ripped off I finally decided enough was enough. It got to a point where I wasn’t getting order items and the Indians who work customer service were next to impossible to deal with, often times abruptly ending chats on me, often times refusing any compensation, I’d have to spend an hour continuously contacting customer service to get the 1 decent person who would refund me. This shit is a garbage and flawed system. One time I literally watched some Jergeet cunt pick up $70 worth of my Chinese food for a family dinner, then he started driving in the opposite direction of my house, got (presumably) his house, parked, and then suddenly I get a message from DoorDash saying “your driver had a family emergency and had to cut his shift early” I got no compensation for my time wasted, just my order money refunded, and the best part? The restaurant was closing right after that so we couldn’t even reorder our dinner. Scamming little cunts work at these places, and I’d say most of them are scammers. I swear if I knew his address I would’ve driven over there and there would’ve been some serious consequences for that fuck face. All you can do is delete these apps and not support it.

Don't buy excessive amounts of produce that you know you won't get around to before it rots. Figure out what foods you are drawn to and what dishes you like making. Only purchase what you need. Use up the odds and ends in your fridge and make soups or pasta salad or some shit like that. There's always something you can make.

It used to be such a good deal. When Seamless came to NYC in the 2000's every restaurant had constant deals trying to get your business. Deliveries were cheap. Now discounts are paywalled behind a "+" service and everything is expensive. I used to get a burrito, nachos and a pepsi delivered to my house for $12 total with fees and tips

I use Doordash at least 4x a month. My go-to is the Big Mac meal + the 2 cheeseburger meal. Both with Sprites. Yes I eat both meals myself in 1 sitting. The pizzas are 16" Xtra-large with sausage. Imo's still blows away Cecil Whittaker's.

I only do things on my desktop computer. I have a smartphone but just check texts and phone calls on it about once every 2 week. I still have a landline that I use for 90% of my calls. The smartphone freaks me out.
