Because Catholics have already made their move. Their ideology right now is in complete contradiction to everything they believed while they were killing Muslims for the past 1000 years. They are now in a position to blame all non-Catholics for things Catholics have been historically responsible for. The Muslim question needs to be addressed from a Protestant perspective.
