God I love having a house to myself. My bedroom is only for sleeping, no mixing up the waking/sleeping routines and hours so I get excellent sleep every night. I have an office room just for work. I have a room just for my music equipment. A room just for my vidya/TTG/TCG. And then the 5th as a dedicated guest bedroom. 3 car garage to store my daily driver, project car, welding area, and weight lifting area with power cage.
I will say I probably have one bathroom more than I need, but I understand why it's there, the house isn't really meant to home just one person. But remembering to flush it once a week and change out one extra toilet flap every 3 years isn't a huge deal.

My job rotates 1 week office, 1 week WFH. My WFH weeks are probably 2 hours of real work a day so I have lots of free time. I get a lot of cleaning and chores done while muted listening to useless meetings. Drawback is I have to be on call for remote support nearly 24/7.
As for motivation, it's a lot easier to keep something clean when you never let it get bad in the first place. It's a lot easier to do 15 minutes of light cleaning every day than it is to do 1.5 hours deep clean once a week. I also have friends who come over a few times a week so I like to keep things clean and they are good about not leaving messes and being respectful of my space.
