People say this because they're conservative coward faggots. They know they can't outwardly support Israel without getting rightfully dogpiled and attacked, but they also love Jews, Trump, and Israel so they pretend to be le based giga chad that hates "both sides."
If you actually hate Israel than you would support Palestinians. Israel is hated because of what is has done to Palestine and the surrounding Middle East. It doesn't make any sense to say you hate Israel AND Palestine given the context of everything. Hamas is fighting and killing Jews to keep Palestinians in Palestine, and the Jews are trying to dump the ones they don't kill on the West.
