>>511134771 (OP)Canada hasn't really changed at all in the past 10-so odd years except for some obvious financial mismanagement by the federal government and a recent (as in, within the last year) wave of unmoderated immigration triggering a mass crime wave in the GTA.
The first problem is fixable but involves competent effort by people more qualified than you or me. The second was just Trudeau's parting shot, the immigration loopholes have already been closed and there are obvious issues with our justice system that need to be sorted to solve the crime issue.
There's already been sharp improvement to housing and rent prices (they're still abnormally high, but normalizing steadily) and a sharp improvement in healthcare turnover rates as soon as the massive immigration pressure was alleviated. Most of the problem-migrants are not new canadian citizens, but temporary Visa part of widespread visa fraud schemes. Those schemes have been stopped, the amount of temporary visas curtailed, and mass deportations of both expired visa-holders, and those who have broken the law and violated their visa agreements, is playing out. You just don't get media coverage of it because deporting illegals isn't controversial here like it is in the states.
