Unfortunately Donald, as per the Supreme Court decision in Trump v. United States, presidents are immune from prosecution

The accusation is that obama, while president and after trump became president, orchestrated the muh russia narrative. They can absolutely go after obama for his actions after trump became president.
The ruling didn’t say a president can do whatever he wants. But if it did, then trump is able to do what he wants and try obama for treason.
Since it didn’t have that ruling however, obama can be investigated, charged, and tried for treason/sedition/etc

Only in the official, legal capacity as president.

If the president goes out and kills a hooker, they don't have presidential immunity. Unless the hooker is a Russian spy, then it gets spicy.

Nothing he did after leaving office was illegal. He can talk about Russia all he likes as a private citizen.

Wiretapping Trump before that was under his capacity as president and by Trump’s own precedent is not prosecutable.

Nope, the president is immune if acting within his official capacity and there is the rub. Official capacity is broad and far reaching. The president can literally tell the vice president to kill someone and since communication between the president and vice president is protected, it is operating in an official capacity. Sure you can prosecute the vice president for actually killing someone, but then the president can just order the DoJ to not prosecute and pardon if it gets that far.

This is essentially why Trump was not allowed to be touched for J6. When it started to get far enough to prosecute, the Supreme court made this ruling about presidential powers and it stopped it from going further, and thus Trump remained on the ballot.

The president doesn't prosecute people, the DoJ does. The president doesn't try people, the Judicial branch does.

This is true but the problem with that theory is Obama continued the conspiracy after he left office.
Either way if they are trying this case in Washington DC, they are never going to see a conviction.

Trump is the most full of shit weasel in the world. He's the scorpion in the frog story he tells.

Listen to him admit he let Hillary off all her crimes after years of chanting, "lock her up."

Trump
> You know what, when we caught Hillary Clinton, I said let's not go to far...I let her off the hook, and I'm happy I did."

10 min mark

Only gullible boomer morons believe his bullshit anymore. Who are stupid enough to think he's different this time and will prosecute high level criminals that are fucking over kids and the country. It's all just a show, and he's fucking with you every time he opens his zionist cock sucking mouth.

Trump wasn't prosecuted for things he did in office.

>>511160258
>orchestrated the muh russia narrative
Which is bullshit and nothing that's been released so far even comes close to proving that. Trumps campaign had multiple weird contacts with Russia and intelligence found Russia acting in multiple ways to help the Trump campaign. No court is going to take it seriously that it was somehow wrong for the President to order an investigation into possible foreign interference.

The hypocrisy is astounding, their main complaint is basically that Obama ordered further investigation even after some initial reports came up inconclusive. The problem is Trump is DOING THE EXACT SAME THING. This whole thing was already investigated by Durham and congress and they both basically said "there were some irregularities but nothing criminal or beyond the pale." Now Trump is doing the exact same thing: ignoring previous reports and ordering further investigations because he wants to hurt a political rival.

He / the DNI mentioned the United States Department of Justice, would be doing any prosecuting
after all of the documents from ODNI, and whistleblower testimony, is delivered to DoJ
DoJ then decides what / how / who is prosecuted

Except they can't prosecute a President for official actions and ordering an investigation and reports is squarely an official act even if you or anyone else thinks the investigation is unwarranted. It's the President's prerogative to decide if they want to trust the reports they've been given or not.

Further, you should take a look at how the current Supreme Court has ruled on bribery in the past. They set the bar incredibly high to prove corrupt intent on an officials part. You would basically need to have Obama on tape saying "I don't believe this is true, I'm only doing it to hurt Trump" which is not gonna happen.
