What tech do we supposedly not have?
Getting into space is the hard part and we've already solved it.
Once you're up there all it takes is time + supplies to actually get to Mars.
The only reason we haven't done it is because nobody wants to spend billions on a mission that is guaranteed suicide.

Moving mass from the Earth's surface into space requires far too much energy to ever be a feasible means of colonizing or sending large expeditions into space. The first thing we need to do is establish some kind of off-world mining and manufacturing operation to produce basic necessities like liquid water. That's just the first step, and it already sounds like impossible sci-fi nonsense.

It's a technical failure not a marketing failure. The cars are not able to function safely in full autopilot because they lack any sort of radar or LiDAR that real self driving cars have. It's a scam that has been built up for a decade and will implode spectacularly.

I don't mean to get so off topic but pic related is what real self driving looks like. AI needs input from sensors it is not good enough to drive from cameras alone the way a human can.

starship would be a good starting point, but there's probably 100 more major engineering problems that would have to be confidently solved to prevent any trip from being a 1-way suicide mission. like it or not if they can get starship to work and be rapidly reusable, the possibilities of human actually doing something worthwhile in space increases greatly. i still think you'd be prudent to establish lunar habitats first, there's some worthwhile stuff to be done there and you could fully mature tech needed for a martian mission there and if something goes catastrophically wrong the crew is only a few days away rather than months at the earliest.

Sarcasm? Anyway for those that don't know, this is what Elon said when he removed the LiDAR sensors from Teslas a few years ago. He expected his autopilot to just get good enough but it hasn't happened. That's why every serious self driving car and every decent robot has sensors. AI is still very easily confused by images, it needs hard data. Look here's an example right now

In order to bring humans to Mars we would first have to build a permanent station on Moon and also the industry required to produce almost all the material, all the prefabs, transports and fuel that would be needed for a meaningful mission to Mars. We couldn't lift all this mass into space from Earth because of gravitation. What is a human even supposed to do on Mars without any infrastructure? Die 15 minutes after landing? Or 5 days after landing? We would have to send many waves of robots and material to prepare even for the arrival of humans before thinking of sending them into a deadly desert just for the sake of proving the concept of killing people the most expensive way ever.

No answer for microgravity deteriorating the human body. Even low gravity on mars will slowly deteriorate bones. It also makes your eyeballs flatten and your circulatory and immune systems go haywire.
Martian regolith is microscopic and loaded with toxic perchlorates. It would get all over everything. If it gets in the habitat it’s game over.
Mars is subject to blasts of radiation from the sun and outside the solar system that could kill astronauts in a few hours if they’re stuck outdoors in spacesuits. Materials science is not advanced enough to create strong radiation shields in suits

Warp drive technology already exists and is being operated by humans. Not sure if it's feasible to use for bringing supplies and people to Mars yet (I'd guess yes) but it can certainly fly around Earth.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcubierre_drive

The only debate used to be whether the energy requirements for such a warp drive were feasible. It was debated until recently when a thorough investigation uncovered that the following 2 videos are a very real counter-intelligence operation against China:

https://youtu.be/d7puA8CcE-g?si=mIPvT1HvBdoz6YLV

https://youtu.be/WoUfR3x-2DQ?si=UadgT8ZxJOCS1Rtk

These are US Air Force hypersonic plasma orbs essentially. The same physics that allow Russian hypersonic planes to reduce drag by 50% magically (plasma sheath at the nose of the aircraft)
Fusion was figured out long ago and it was deliberately buried by any means necessary for national security reasons. The advanced weaponry potential of this technology is beyond what anyone can imagine. The US is decades ahead of any other country on Earth and a lot of stuff can be explained by this once you realize it's true.

He's a tech entrepreneur. He makes a big promise assuming that money and focus can get things done. In many cases this is the truth. For other things like the Hyperloop and his tunneling efforts, it's not the truth. Consider it business optimism

look at the attributes of the names, not at the message.
i literally explained it in my post

mars means war, the ritual of "space travel" is to plant the seed in Nut (female waters/heaven) to travel to mars (war)

though mars could also be the inverted red, which is white (though your sins be as red as scarlet, they will be made as white as snow), so mars could also be antarctica (during war time, as cover)

its all easy to understand, if you've actually listened and LEARNED TO FUCKIN' CODE like you were told, nigger.

not program, not write bash scripts, learn to cypher/decypher cryptic messages.

With instant teleportation and cruising at high speeds through the galaxy with AI assisted navigation and gravity manipulation, long hauls through space might not be a real thing any civilization has to worry about. It might be a matter of sticking a one-time teleportation thing on the surface of Mars and having the other end on Earth and just sending whatever the fuck we want over there instantly. Or making large cargo warp drive ships that bounce straight to Mars in a matter of seconds.

What the fuck difference does a few million kilometers make, the technology to land a man on the moon and return said man to earth does not exist right now on this planet, never mind mars.
Elongs moon mission requires about 16 extra launches just to carry fuel for the trip, Apollo did the whole thing with one launch.

When the spinning ball-Earth is finally exposed worldwide for the 400+ year deception it was, Earth's entire population will suddenly be faced with the reality that every government, every space agency, university, secret society, religious organization, mainstream and alternative media outlet have ALL been duplicitous in propping up a monstrous manipulation to fleece and control the masses. The resulting mass mental exodus away from the control system is exactly what humanity needs. Once the flat Earth truth gets out, these lying politicians, spokesmen, reporters and teachers suddenly change from being heralded voices of authority to being ridiculed, shunned and denounced as they deserve. Once the flat Earth truth gets out, these governments, universities, media outlets and other entangled organizations which have long been hard at work weaving this multi-generational ball-Earth myth, suddenly and completely lose all credibility. Once the truth of our flat Earth gets out, so does the truth of these few elite families/societies who have kept this most important and fundamental reality from us for these hundreds of years! Essentially, once the flat Earth truth gets out, so does every other important truth by proxy, because this "mother-of-all-conspiracies" holds under its umbrella literally ALL of the other conspiracies, and exposes them.

> we don’t have the technology
No shit, that's why its still in development.
Also, I think you misunderstand what technology is. Technology is not just some vague list of things we can do, technology is the specific things we can manufacture. Every single thing in your house is a distinct piece of technology.

Also, this brings up a point which relates to the great conspiracy which I will not mention, 99.999% of all technology that ever existed has been lost. Every single product is a distinct piece of technology, every single thing that has been discontinued is another lost piece of tech.

> the technology to land a man on the moon and return said man to earth does not exist right now on this planet
So? The technology to make an induction toaster "does not exist right now on this planet" either. Yeah, cause no one is making them anymore. Same for 1950 fridges or 1960 cars or the fucking SONY Playstation 2.

I'm really tired of you retarded midwits, honestly.
The only reason space programs didn't exist for so long, for the moon and for Mars is because there is no fucking direct profit motive for either. You need a HUGE investment gap just to get a prospecting team up there to see if there is even anything worth mining. And then an exponentially larger investment to extract anything.
It would be like funding an antarctica base in 1550. If they REALLY wanted, they could have pulled it off. But just like today, there was no profit motive and the costs would have bankrupted any nation that tried it.

Elon wants to send so many huge rockets to dump so much material there cheaply enough that he can pull off so many prospecting, media, tourism and scientific benefits at once that he can begin offsetting investment costs. All you need to find is one deposit of surface gold or some other exotic material. Then his 300 ton oxigen-hydrogen stainless steel rockets would start sending that shit home. Once the profit motive is there suddenly "technology" will be there very fast too. After all Mars is a whole planet-ful of resources free for the taking.
