this is not accurate at all, australias are only wealthy because all the boomer generation owns grossly inflated real estate which makes up probably 90% of their wealth. so it looks more egalatarian from that sense but because that capital never touches the economy until they die, everybody else is who doesnt own real estate is really fucking poor especially if they have no choice but to rent. the point i want to make though is that if australia is supposed to be one of the 'fairer' nations, imagine how shit it is for the people elsewhere

Obviously inequality leads to violence, but the entire capitalist world has high rates of inequality, while Brazil still has a universal public health system and some social programs.
