Ive been gaming for almost 40 years. To be honest. I don't game much anymore. Sometimes I get really excited about a game. I either buy it or pirate it and play it for a couple days and get bored. Back in the days of Ultima Online id literally stand outside of someone's house for hours waiting for them to recall so I could stealth walk into their house and rob them blind. Honestly, I love Rust for that reason too. You can raid people's bases or just run around and pen-test them. It's a truly fun game in that regard, but it takes more time then I'm willing to give it. But, modern games are ass. I play some indie games and some strategy games occasionally, but I always get bored quickly. I guess there's only many games you can play in one lifetime. idk, but they seem to have gone to shit recently.

Solo gamedev here. It's funny when you consider they don't seem to have any issues with porn sites, really make's one think. Wonder how long before my game has a chance of being banned because of big boobs despite no nudity or sexual content in it. It's clear this act of removing payment services for simply having sexual content isn't being done for a righteous reason, if it was, then places like Only Fans or Twitch. There are many more places that would get also be at risk of losing these payment services besides these. I am rather conflicted on this matter. On one hand I could care less if games and shit that glorify sexually forcing yourself upon someone and/or torturing someone to death for fun to be cut down, but on the other hand I know that censorship of any art sets a precedent that if that can be prohibited, everything else can arbitrarily too and that censoring these things doesn't make the sentiments of those who find pleasure in that go away. If anything, robbing such people of an outlet that keeps them from doing such things IRL would just push some of them to go to such extremes and we wouldn't be able to know. It also neglects the reality that art is ultimately a purely subjective medium even if the creator(s) make something to try to push something as objective and that the contents of art do not happen in real space hence no actual crime is being committed, and to punish people for something that never happened nor was done by them is simply illogical.

I understand wanting to have some form of standards in society and not wanting people to look upon atrocities and evils with fondness, but there are far better ways to go about this than censorship and playing with the massive Monkey's Paw that comes with it.
