Voting anything other than reform will delay the process after 2029 and then its too late. The way parliament's stupid voting system works means voters need to act strategically. Taxation and cost of living wise, you currently can't really do worse than Australia.

For example, you'd earn about 40% more doing the same job in the UAE, and they don't tax income so you get to keep 100% of it. Cost of living is a little higher, but despite that on average you'd be between 70 and 80% better off. Very modern, very nice, and being a faggot is literally illegal there.
