It sure looks like it. Crazy how at one point it seemed he had a chance to be so good he could run for a third term. People were saying if he didn’t then Vance was going to be the next for sure. CPAC going international, Elon, the libertarians, all behind the Trump train. Collapsed like a house of cards. Started with the BBB and his support for Israel was bad enough after that but this Epstein stuff may have sealed the deal.

Legitimately yes. You can't chimp out against your own followers and declare that you no longer want their support just because they're expecting you to follow through on your promises. Going through this much effort to protect pedophiles is just insane. There is absolutely no way to spin this. It looks like he's just hoping that people will get distracted and forget about it, but I don't think they will.

I'm not so sure, honestly. A big part of his support is from Christian nationalist nutcases who couldn't care less about who and what Trump is as long as he keeps delivering a functional abrogation of the separation between church and state. This Christian shit goes really deep. SCOTUS itself even has sitting justices whose loyalties lie more strongly with a 2000 year old book than they do with the constitution to which they all took an oath. These dominionists are legitimately and unironically on the very brink of quietly turning the US into a theocracy. They'll back Trump no matter what because he's the only guy who cares so little about anything but his own goals that he'll hand the country to them after he's done.

Epstein is connected to Israel, this is why Trump is covering it up. He doesn't want to risk the political fallout for Israel when people realize all of Epstein's clients were blackmailed and used as Israeli assets (including Trump himself).
