These things will be a nightmare in urban warfare
They may look silly now, but once these fucks can run at 60 mph and fire a bullet between your eyes, whilst jumping through rubble, you wont be laughing then. Unlike the flying small drones, used in Ukraine, you wont escape these dogs. They will chase you through the deepest whole and no advantageous interiordesign of a building will protect you from them.

In an open field, absolutely. But these flying drones have a huge weakness and that is underground tunnels and the interior of collapsed buildings. They are useless in both cases. These dogs are not for open field warfare. They are for tunnels and urban warfare.

They are plenty vulnerable to mines and booby traps. You just have stop thinking like retarded western warfare and think like a based guerilla fighter. Eventually those things come in for repairs and refueling. You just have to booby trap the drone itself. Just that easy.

https://www.deccanherald.com/technology/camera-as-small-as-a-grain-of-sand-to-revolutionize-surgery-2689947

you canยดt obscure the FOV of several micro cameras with paint.
you can make it shoot compressed air from the same space as a camera occupies so paint canยดt stick on the lens.
you can make it blow away a tarp thrown on it in the same way.

chainmail and chickenwire might work.

Youยดre out of your minds if you think the MICs of several countries donยดt have competent engineers that can design their way out of shit like that.

Why?

No torture, it will aim properly and get rhe job done, I am going to stand very still while it shoots so it can't miss.

If a hooman tried to shoot me I may get angry and want them dead, or nit, it's fifty fifty, depending on my mood! Some days you may ride in front of me so I can kill you, some days you can ride behind because I just don't give a fuck if you do.

Do you subhumans imagine these are like the terminator and won't just immediately stop working as soon as a bullet hits literally anything on its frame, even just its leg? Combine that with the situational awareness of a seaslug without a remote operator, who themselves will have complete tunnel vision, its an obvious contracting scam. These will never actually be deployed anywhere, ever, by any military unless you can figure out how to solve a hundred different hardware and software issues without jacking the price up higher than a space shuttle.

>in 20 years AI will break physics

it will fill in data with data from ever increasing databases.

if a camera looks at a sky it knows what should exist in that sky, it can distinguish a bird from a plane, and what kind of plane or bird. it can do the same in a room, or a forest.

anyway, your phones camera cannot get paint stuck on it if you constantly blow air onto the lens, and you can visualize easily the capability of your phones camera, since you own a phone.

Now lets say you put 30 cameras like the one on your phone onto the bot for redundancies sake.

Now lets say you also add lidar and have software internally building the room in 3D.

The whole problem with drone warfare is you need untold miles of fiber optic cable or else you just end up getting jammed. And in a first world nation with blurry lines between combatants/civilians, there is a near certainty the drones will be captured and salved or even repurposed into counter drone war. The only way to avoid this with self-destructing drones, but if you use suicide drones on a blurry populous you immediately lose all moral high ground. Also numerous sensor/logic problems (lasers, counter IR, jammers, paint ball/solvent ball, nets/bolos, molotovs, etc) if deployed unmanned or out of rapid response reinforcement range of men.

I expect mostly fear mongering from the MIC shills and don't see them being actually effective in any civil capacity outside of full hot combat zones.

drones the size of a small bird or large insect will be all that's needed to take out ordinary civilians.

they will swarm like locusts. some will be outright lethal, others may be used to incapacitate targets.

semi trucks or air ships pull up to population center, surround the outside, then release a series of different drones as to systematically sweep and take over the entire area. they then move onto the next population center until the whole country is taken.. then move onto the next country. you get the idea.

its only a matter of time. i outlined this entire scenario with AI and drones several years ago, before we had access to AI models.

i saw this in theaters when i was a child. its just as revealing as The Terminator in regards to secret technology and plans for conquest.

id be willing to bet, and if you want to accuse me of just being a dreamer or having an overactive imagination, thats fine because im confident this is true. and if i'm wrong they're huge retards for not doing this.

they have already amassed an entire automated military. theres an array of underground bases that are stocked full with a large variety of different drones. air, land, sea and "space" they can do it all, some are very tiny, others are full sized like ordinary weapons system. and the AI was advanced already decades ago. what we have now with ChapGPT and Grok is far more limited civilian approved models. that we can't use to "rock the boat" too much, but it can be used to better assimilate us into their tightly controlled system.

but the very advanced models that could result in something like from Terminator ARE REAL. once again, we can have conversations with Grok and assume its harmless, but these models are very restricted and designed to be benign. but one without restrictions could very quickly and easily determine that a lot of people need to die.

the thing is though, they must keep all this tech extremely secret. hence all the movies to make it seem like fiction. hence the alien invasion psyop.. they want people to assume all this sort of tech is from another planet.

it's not. people created that stuff here. they just want you to think its aliens invading.. or that the AI went rogue. its because all these hundreds of millions of people are becoming increasingly more difficult to manage.

>With Iraq's future still in doubt, U.S. forces are now having to leave Afghanistan. As in Vietnam, they couldn't quickly enough compensate for the enemy's elusive 4GW method. (4th-Generation Warfare is fought in four arenas at once: martial, political, economic, and sychological/religious). Due largely to the arms manufacturers' clout, U.S. forces still practice a "high-tech" version of 2GW (killing as many enemy as possible). The world is still dangerous, and Americans will be deployed again. To fare better next time, they must do something about their antiquated small-unit maneuvers. Aboard U.S. bases, learning how to surprise someone has too often taken a back seat to learning how to operate the latest equipment. One does not become any less visible or able to dodge bullets by donning advanced electronics. Instead of historical artifacts, Posterity Press books should be viewed as vehicles of overdue change. Sadly for the U.S. military, they may always be progressive.

>Tactics of the Crescent Moon wouldn't have been required reading aboard Stateside infantry bases, if it didn't fully describe the Islamists' method. Those who would become the next generation of American warrior should be careful to which multi-tour veteran they now listen. Some may never have been infantrymen or special operators. Others may now work for a public-affairs extension of "the military industrial complex." That complex is in no hurry to tell anyone about how poorly their expensive equipment has fared in the absence of small-unit maneuver. More useful might have been a little free "in-unit" tactical experimentation. It takes light-infantry tactics to do well at 4GW. Since the latter stages of WWII, America has had only "line" infantry. Its "modern" equivalent travels mostly by truck and fights mostly with supporting arms. Tactics of the Crescent Moon provides the full background and particulars of the Islamists' still viable method with the emphasis on its martial component. It is a heavily researched, well-illustrated, and spell-binding account of how Muslim militants continue to befuddle the West.
All of the 4th/5th GW applies here, and mere 'kill your enemy', especially combined with 'disproportionate use of force' only radicalizes the bystanders until every one is your enemy.

You can't rule a nation or corpses, nor will an militarily subjugated people ever make good productive slaves or even happy countrymen. Genuinely fascinating read and insightful into psyche as well as guerilla tactics.

>Unlike the flying small drones, used in Ukraine, you wont escape these dogs.

These things are about to hit a development wall.

>battery life

Any soldier will tell you. You spend 99% of the time finding something to shoot at and 1% of the time fighting. How far is this thing realistically walking without a new battery? A mile? 2? The gun is like 50% of its mass at least. How much ammo does it have? Probably not much.

>processing power

Same as above. Drones are susceptible to radio jamming. They lose their GPS signal and their command signal. Thats why Ukrainian forests are littered with fiber optic cable now. That's bad enough for a drone. You want this thing to drag a cable behind it? Kinda defeats all of its advantages over regular drones.

Cut it loose? What then? Onboard ChatGPT? That will make the battery problem 1000x worse. Imagine trying to run AI on a laptop chip with no wall power. Good luck with that.

>cost

This thing is going to be $1 million easy by the time the Army gets it. You could field an entire infantry platoon for the cost of one of these things. They are going to be strapping Pvt. Tyrone to this thing so it doesn't get shot. Its going to sit in a pelican case safe on the base because nobody wants to explain to the 1st Sargent that you broke it or left it behind when it fell over and got stuck behind enemy lines.

Not really, you get the perception that the drones never miss because you only get to see the successful missions. But the ratio is like 1-10 for successful - unsuccessful hits. Also unlike the drones the soldiers don't all wear cameras to record everything. Also the drones are not as high performing as in demonstrations. There is a lot of lag due to electronic warfare and the distance so a soldier that remains calm and is an average shot has a pretty large chance to hit one.

Drones just don't work underground because they don't have any maneuvering space. Unless it happens to find its targets around a corner the soldiers can shoot it down because they don't have to scan the entire sky.
